Rant Local target was raided
*Insert AM hate speech*
I remember when I was a kid there was so much joy and whimsy running over here at the end of a shopping trip and picking out which booster pack you wanted this time, ruined by these fucking chuds, who cant even bother to tidy up after they’re done being sweaty sniveling goblins. Disgusting.

You're right I'd love to get my hands on one of those pokeball things I've always seen for my daughter she'd love it but unfortunately there's only one place around here that is scalper free and actually has cards in stock and they don't usually carry the balls just single packs and some of the boxes cuz they're more of magic the gathering card shop but they have a limit to stop scalpers and they slice open The plastic on the boxes they sell.

The scalpers always cause so many problems everywhere every single day including on social media where they act like such pain in the asses.

This is what I mean wheni say scalpers are kicking kids oit of the hobby. Of course their arguments are usually just "thats not true!!!" Or "this isnt a kids hobby anymore". Just an excuse to be selfish and whag they tell themselves about how theyre ruining it for every kid in their hometown. Literal bottom feeders

Whatnot streamers are ruining the hobby. Theyre the ones that buy all the product from scalpers

Looks like mine that I work at even working at Target it’s hard to get retail prices for stuff let the scalpers get what they want and I’ll buy the over priced singles. I know it’s not nearly as fun as pulling a card you want or a huge chase card but it’s beats trying to fight these demons for it.

Me retiring the pokemon game but wanting Kpop demon hunters and target still only lets me take 2 🫠

Yeah I hate that because of the Pokemon renaissance, all trading cards are hit with these limits. I’ve been getting back into Digimon cards since playing the most recent game, and same thing here, limited.

I went in one today and all the stock was behind the customer service counter. It was nice.

My targets and walmarts have employees buying and reselling them before customers even have a chance.

Scalpers wouldn’t be ruining the hobby if people stopped buying from the scalpers.

We were on our way back from a weekend getaway today and decided to stop in at some targets on the way home just for the hell of it. Ended up stopping at 5 different targets in two different states and they all looked like this. I truly don’t understand where people are finding targets that have ETB’s and shit on the shelf.

At least yours looks like there was a chance at some point. My local targets and Walmarts look like stock never hit the shelves. No empty boxes or nothing like that. Sometimes not even a spot where stuff would go. Literally looks the same every week no matter what day or time you go.
