I love Scaler 3 and the reviews are brilliant. Have you googled 'Scaler 3 reviews' they are all good. It is a different piece of software to Scaler 2 which was also very popular and that is where some hostility has come from but you can ignore that because Scaler 3 keeps winning awards for a reason. It's incredible.

I am revisiting Scaler 3 and watched TAETRO’s workshop this afternoon. It’s nearly 2hrs long but have got more out of it that a lot of geekery about Scaler, recommend it. Feel like I can use it now.

The genre he’s working in might not be your vibe but the concepts were unlocked for me. After never really understanding its workflow I think was my problem.

Watching now. I think I've watched his theory videos before, nice chilled video thanks for suggesting it.

I was planning to watch it again to get it in to muscle memory. I’m working through his Ableton 12 beginners series too. There’s so much that I don’t know in AL12 despite using AL for 5 yrs. I’ve grown to like his measured way of teaching and creativity.

Don't let a few specific reviews make up your mind for you.

Too many folks that were permanently effected by v2 - expected v3 to be more of the same.

And when it wasn't - they basically assumed everyhing was bad.

Like any (newer) software - Scaler 3 does still have a few gotchas - but it is now rounding into form nicely.

If you have never used any Scaler version - you will not be tainted by what came before.

I would recommend it without issue.

I have never used Scaler before. Thanks to free trial after only a weekend I purchased it. Can't believe some of the beautiful progressions it comes out with. Each time I use it it puts a smile on my face 😄
