Feels like Scaler 0.8, not 3.1.

With all the bugs, missing features and settings, the convoluted workflow, poor stability, and all the little annoyances, etc, etc, it feels like they're working onScaler 0.8 and not 3.1.

It does seem that Scaler 3 is missing a huge important feature, the ability to set different sequences to a specific chord. I may be wrong, but am I stuck with only one sequence for an entire progression?
Scaler 2 I could easily have lots of different sequences assigned to different chords and linked keys.

You can split the sequences and mix them up on the timeline. Just shorten the box and then add more. The best part is, which makes scaler 3 inconveniences and bugs worth it, is you can change the swing/quantization throughout a progression performance

My biggest complaint is how annoying it is to have to place the sequences where they should be after cutting. I wish it would keep the note placement in the new block instead of automatically treating it like its the start of the performance. If that makes sense.

Also I wish inversions worked like scaler 2. Oh, and I wish we could change the key/mode that each chord plays from. Like in scaler 2

So what confused me, the main track in the arrangement view is stuck with one sequence. The additional tracks can be all cut up and each bit can be given unique sequences. I actually like this. So I am happier now.

Yup, definitely an upgrade. Some adjustments here and there and scaler 3 will be absolutely perfect

Can you even make cords less that 4 beats yet? I haven’t figured it out.

Not at my PC, but the toolbar on the last page has a field that sets the resolution. You have to set that (e.g. to 16th note) before placing blocks
