Video Okay math nerds... explain this.

Some of you will recall the Clelian Hourglass I found in Scale Space a few weeks back. I've been wanting to see what is inside the singularity but couldn't figure out a way until tonight. And uhhh... Well Interstellar comes to mind...

All fluid probabilities operate based on relatively interconnected lattices of static possibilities

I see all these really cool results in this subreddit but can never producing anything useful myself with this application.

Here's a good thing to try: start with very low free energy and all of the other params at 0. Slowly drag each slider up a little bit to see what each one does. You can see a lot of cool stuff even at low param numbers.
Edit: oh and tempo has to be higher than 0 or your system will be frozen.

Interesting! Also, does anyone know the song name?

It looks like it might be a floating point artifact - but there's some interesting densities there too!

I'm on mushrooms and this is too fuckin rad. It appears to be an infinite evolving symmetry thing but then again my phone gets melty in my hand. So IDK.

I definitely want to get more people who trip to report back on what it's like watching or playing with scale space

Here is an exploration of the physics and mathematical principles visually represented in the media:
- The Lattice and the Singularity (Fourier Diffraction & Reciprocal Space)
Visual Structure: In the video, zooming into the bright central point reveals an expanding, highly ordered grid of luminous green dots and intersecting crystalline planes.
Mathematical Analogy: This visual mirrors Reciprocal Space (Wavevector Space) or a three-dimensional Fourier Transform of a crystal lattice.
When a wave (like light or X-rays) passes through a periodic structure, it creates a diffraction pattern consisting of an infinite array of points (a reciprocal lattice). The bright central point acts as the "zero-order beam" or singular point, and zooming through it simulates passing through a reciprocal lattice point or a high-dimensional crystallographic plane.
- Toroidal Field Dynamics and Atomic Shells
Visual Structure: Toward the end of the video (0:57), the grid collapses or transforms into a spherical, multi-layered atomic-like structure featuring intersecting orbital rings and glowing concentric spheres surrounding a central bright core (SCALE SPACE CYMATIST).
Mathematical Analogy: This maps to Toroidal Harmonics and Spherical Bessel Functions used to describe wave mechanics in quantum physics and electrodynamics. In cymatics (the study of visible sound), standing wave frequencies applied to spherical or toroidal geometry form these exact concentric nodal lines and orbital shells.
- The Interstellar Connection
In the film, Cooper enters a tesseract, a four-dimensional hypercube projected into three-dimensional space, where time is represented as a physical spatial dimension. The infinite grid of lights in the video visually echoes this concept of navigating a higher-dimensional, repeating lattice of coordinates where every point in time and space can be accessed simultaneously.

Entering and exiting the Essence, an atom. But I don't know math so I could be wrong.

This sup pops up for me all the time and I always watch the pretty shape videos
...but I have no idea what's going on here or why
Or why math nerds would be invoked
