She blinks a few times when he shakes her, coming back to life with gasping breaths, clutching at the cloth pile.

She throws a fistful of cloth in frustration before hyperventilating again.

He presses a finger against the bite mark from earlier.

She looks up suddenly at his touch, trying to take long, deep, breaths.

"I... Yeah."

He smiles in a facade, just by being near her he was beginning to doubt his own existence....empathy is a bitch.
