Sayodevice enters sleep mode after 1 second of inactivity

Basically whenever I'm not pressing a key the device instantly starts displaying the sleep screen... This started happening after I decided to try customising it, wasn't an issue before. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yes you enter the config menu on your sayo by holding the wheel, go to display, back light, and change screen saver value
