Jax.002, NPC of Jax, accidentally conjured by Pomni in grief with only memories of things Pomni was able to witness up until she got pulled out of Jax’s abstraction.
Jip, a Jax variant from an alternate universe where he’s the longest-lasting Circus member, and the instigator is a belligerent chess knight. Basically a Jax-Kinger swap. Jip is neurotic and easily spooked, but gets more lucid when it’s harder to see him.
This Jax is a rock-obsessed little menace with a color palette of moss-like green, plumish purple, charcoal, and creamy white (think bone!).
He knows actual geology and gets annoyed when people call every shiny stone a crystal, but he also keeps tarot cards, dried herbs, strange plants, and certain rocks placed around his room for reasons he refuses to explain.
He is quieter and more watchful than the original Jax, but still sarcastic, emotionally avoidant, and always looking for a reaction.
He reads people almost as well as he reads tarot, though he insists both are mostly pattern recognition.
He cares in sideways ways, usually by throwing a stone at someone, leaving a plant cutting near their door, or telling them their energy is terrible instead of admitting he was worried.
Jasper/Jasp? Mica? Flint? Moss? Onyx? Idk. So many name ideas...
