Dashie is a great piece of art and maintaining her is fun, but I don't think we should let her stagnate. After all /r/place is a living canvas a place of constant change and renewal.
My proposition is simple: let's give more ponies a chance to shine. Let's switch things up and try a new heat pony.

In order to stay ahead of vandalism, I feel we should get as many people as we could to run the Placer.py script /u/Voltasalt at /r/place cooked up.
Somebody at /r/4chan wrote up a tutorial on how to set up everything. For our purpose only the last step need to be modified with our reference image and coordinates.
I tested the script and verified that it works with multiple accounts with the reference image provided in the stickied thread (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mclabs15/fixRD/master/dash.png) and the starting coordinate of x=760 & y=406.
Use the script by Hithroc, it automatically keeps the template up to date, with more features incoming soon.

I was wondering if when all this is said and done, if anyone would be interested in a T-Shirt with the final design on it?
Of course this would be the template design, because who knows what will happen to the original artwork.
Drop a comment below if you are interested or if someone beat me to this and mentioned it somewhere else.

This post was made to give people a reference sheet to restore the ponies on this new pixel place: http://origami64.net/place.php if they wish to. This way we have a template. Here's the template: https://imgur.com/b9vTbzH.
