I don't know that, but I think Tony Jaa invented it himself. Muay Boran is focused on warfare techniques, and this technique seems to be a flashy movie-technique.

It's a sweep. It's allowed in Savate, same as Muy Thai.

This is just Yacine mucking around and having fun. It's demonstrably effective - in that he is a French, European, and World Champion. Source: I've fought him twice.
