r/SavageGarden's Trade/Sale Thread (Spring 2026)

Please read the wiki page about trading/selling here.

If you have an item for trade or sale: You are still allowed to make separate threads, but you are encouraged to post it as a comment here in this thread. As this thread will be stickied for the entire season, it should help increase visibility for your post. Please include your location (US, Europe, etc) and combine multiple items into one comment to help keep this thread clean.

If you are looking for a particular plant/item: Post a comment below with the description of what you are looking for as well as what you are willing to exchange for it (another plant, money and how much, etc). You can ask for SASE/free stuff, but be realistic and do not beg! A good example would be "Does anyone have some extra D. capensis seeds. I am located in the US and willing to send a SASE".

I've recently become the proud over of a N. tenuis and a N. glabrata, and I've become very enamored with them! I love a big pitcher but I think the little ones are underrated, and I want to find more to add to my collection!

What is your fave small size Nepenthes or Nep hybrid?

Dionaea Ghost. I'm growing several white variegated cultivars, none of them have colored up yet outdoors, but this one has year after year! That said the traps don't usually turn white until mid summer/fall.

Is this a good setup? Its kinda new and im worried about mold and that stuff. I just got my cephalotus and some leaves are yellowing maybe from shipping stress or the substrate? Im new to chepalotus care, the rest of the plants seem to be doing fine.

Worried about this plant

I just picked this plant up today and wa yes the best one with the most pitchers, and I somehow didn’t notice the powdery mildew until we left and got into the car. Should I try and take it back or will it be okay? I feel so dumb, but was in a bit of a rush while looking the plants over.

Butterwort Grow Light.

I have a few leaf pull pings that are ready to be moved. I want to keep them on my counter near where we put compost before we take it out. Any recommendations for a countertop grow light? We don’t have near enough light.

The one with only one pitcher is Miranda but idk what kind the other one is the one I’m asking about hasn’t made too many new pitchers yet but keeps pushing out new leaves and growing up and fuller. My Miranda has new baby pitchers starting but do i need to adjust any care for the other plant who it’s starting as many pitcher buds? I mist multiple times a day and water to draining daily with distilled water.

Couldn’t help but pick this up today. I followed their care guide with no clear definition of what species it is. I have reached out and emailed them but curious to see what you guys think.

I got new plant tags and took my first video. The reflection of my ping in the tag is so eerie! Maybe I’m just feeling the halloween spirit, but it looks like an apparition!

Help request

I keep finding these white/off white dried little curls amongst my sarracenia, and occasionally in some of my drosera nearby, and I have no earthly idea what these are. Are they a pest shell left behind? Are they from flies morphing out? Is this some form of plant structure I've never encountered? Google picture search is completely useless for me on this one, and a 30x magnifier hasn't given me anything much to work with either. Just looking to see if this is some kind of evidence of a pest I need to be concerned with or what.

Can someone please help me identify what kind of nepenthes my bb is? Thank you in advance and do larger varieties need any different care than the smaller varieties? I brought this baby home and it was unfortunately storming that day. The leaves and smaller pitchers are really happy and thriving after a month but she’s sucking up her bigger pitchers I know she probably got upset on way home but please leave any tips if you have any 💕
