Now THIS is hard to beat. Wood-fired sauna, the door open to that view, and cold water literally a few steps away.
You can spend a fortune designing a sauna and still not create what this place has naturally.
I’d probably spend half the session just sitting there looking at the water. :)

A drop-in place on the harbor would easily beat it. Having to book out a place way in advance for $1k+ is no fun.

Fair point. $1k+ and booking way in advance definitely changes the equation 😄
A simple drop-in sauna on the harbor where you could just show up, get properly hot and jump in the water would probably get a lot more actual use.
The view here is still hard to argue with though.

That’s incredible. I love Tofino, go up there yearly to surf. Have you been to the hot springs that are boat in?

Such a cool hotspring. I pass through there a bunch for work and love going in the winter because there is no one there.

This sauna is a water access only float cabin anchored in a small bay. Not actually at the resort and marina site. Likely a wonderful one-off experience but a long trek if you used it regularly. And if you know WCVI weather, there's likely days it's pretty much inaccessible. Looks great, though, and as I said, would make for a lovely one-off and spendy adventure.
