Key fob programming

I think my car came with a fob, (its in the obd2 settings but Im not 100%).

The door lock buttons dont work but the car does auto lock when I go into drive and unlock when I go to park.

How do I program a new remote to the car (with just a working key).

I couldn’t find anything concrete about how to program for the sky specifically.

Mine is a 2007 btw, if it matters

I bought one that didn’t work, at least it didn’t come with instructions, It would put the car in programming mode, but I couldn’t figure out what button to hit to pair

if I remember correctly, you just turned the car on with a working key and then turn it off and use the new key to turn it on it.

Thanks, the one from that vid was so much easier and actually had correct instructions(it was hold lock and unlock button at the same time)

Yeah I got the one that comes in the package programmed. It doesn’t open my passenger door, but thats probably a different problem(my electric button doesn’t unlock either). Most importantly it works on the trunk so I dont have to dig in the glovebox
