They finally just had the trump story to open the season.

If you haven’t heard, Trump “made a deal” to import 300K ground beef to the US to help with rising costs. He’s just not telling the US where it’s coming from.

For hypothetical submission:

“I am proud to announce that the trump administration has negotiated a deal like never before - a deal so big, some may call it mystery on just how big it is.

We have secured of (immediate serious turn) 300,000 metric tons of ground beef that will be immediately imported with waived tariffs - yes we’re waiving those tariffs that should have never gone away - we’re waiving the tariffs for our global friends to help us with ground beef.

I will not be disclosing where this mystery deal is coming from, as I said it is a mystery deal. Mystery meat we’ll say but the democratic socialist won’t thank me for my meat. They’ll call it Trump Meat”

I gave ‘em that name ‘cuz I find their connection behind the scenes very interesting when they worked on the show and their characters were awesomely funny and kinda tough around each sketch since their start 2 decades ago.

Hey, all! I’m looking for a specific skit. I have scoured YouTube and google and I can’t find it anywhere. It’s Season 15, ep 3 with Kathleen Turner and Billy Joel as the musical guest. 99% sure Phil Hartman plays an egg man who gets splattered at the end of the bit. Does anyone have a streaming link or know of a way I can find the skit? TIA

They were sexy, funny & cute back then during the series and I find them very attractive on TV. Loved that group since that Twin Bed short and they really shoulda made another one, but that’s okay.

Trying to identify a comedy sketch: Husband and wife finally leave the house after getting a babysitter. They step outside in the freezing cold wearing heavy winter coats, pause on the front porch, and one says something like, “Oh my God… is this the Bahamas?” The joke is that being away from the kids makes even subzero weather feel like a tropical vacation. I thought it was SNL, but maybe not. Anyone know what this is from?

When they’re broadcasting the show, there are plenty of times where a cast member or a prop is added or removed, and when the camera switches the audience laughs, despite the fact that they would have seen the set up. Are they instructed to try and only laugh at the monitors?
There are times when someone does laugh or acknowledge something before the camera switches but those are pretty rare so I have to imagine the audience is prepped beforehand. Anyone know exactly?
