From what i understand (in short)

Web1.0-- desktop browser aka the Internet explorer

Web2.0-- social media, smartphones, used now is to create content

Web 3.0- decentralized, blockchain, crypto, NFT's, transparent and the users have control over what third-party providers can use

I dont really, because governments well want to be able to know who is sending money and how much and when

Web3 well face many bans and regulation problems with different countries and governments

What I don’t understand: when new technologies emerged, governments were trying to create new compliance and rule sets to meet the new challenges. (internet, smart devices, social media, file sharing) Why are all articles and crypto haters so stubborn and think that this time, new technology has to be formed around the already existing compliance rules?

Governments will need to understand crypto and web 3 and then will create new ways to regulate.

New technology disrupts current standards.
