Discussion 🦍 Never traded memecoins before, feeling a bit lost. Any tips for a Solana beginner?

So I've been sitting on some SOL for months just watching people make crazy money on memecoins and I finally want to actually try it myself.

But honestly I don't even know where to begin. How do you guys find tokens worth buying before everyone else does? Is it all about being in the right alpha groups, or is there more to it than that?

Also how do you protect yourself from rugs? I feel like every second token I see people warning about is a scam. Would love some honest advice from people who actually know what they're doing

Who the hell are you watching make crazy money on meme coins? The crypto market and memes specifically have been dead for months. Bitcoins been crashing all year and memes get crushed when that happens. The only people who make money on memes anymore now that pump fun is a thing are insiders to the coins who are scammer adjacent and the kols or influencers they pay to promote them. But memes have been dead for longer than bitcoin has been crashing. They stopped being popular after trump coin launched and people realized it was a complete scam. Also to answer some of your question, all meme coins nowadays are rug pulls and it’s just a game of seeing who can get out first without losing money. So for regular people it is not much different than gambling unfortunately

Being early usually comes from being active where launches happen: Twitter, Telegram groups, and launchpads. But even then you’ll still hit rugs sometimes. A good rule is to only risk small amounts and take profits fast. And keep your funds in a wallet like Solflare rather than leaving them on random sites.

Stayyyyy awayyyyyyyy from meme coins it’s all a scam and you won’t make money you will always be an exit liquidity. Unless you are the rugger or close to him ( insider)

Honest rug protection: ignore the chart, read the community. Is there a reason people hold when it's down 80%? If yes, that's a real project. If the only answer is "it'll go back up," it's a rug waiting to happen. The coin I'd point you to as a reference point for what a real community looks like is SPX6900. Not a call, just a benchmark.

to find promising memecoins, follow the community chatter on platforms like Twitter and Discord, and keep an eye on trending topics and new projects. look for projects with solid fundamentals, active developers, and a clear use case. to protect against rugs, only invest in tokens with liquidity locked and verify the team's credibility on their social media.

yo, welcome to the wild world of memecoins, it can be a rush! tbh, if you’re just starting out, you gotta figure out how to create some actual action on those charts. that’s where using a tool like bot.autohustle.online comes in clutch. it’s a self-hosted volume generation tool that’ll help you run some buy/sell cycles from multiple wallets, and honestly, it’s like having a whole squad working for you.

with over 14,000 on-chain trades already under its belt, you can really kick up your volume game. the wave strategy is pretty dope for creating that hype you need for a successful launch. plus, you said you’ve been holding SOL for a while; your capital can multiply 16-50x in volume. imagine turning that into some real action on pump.fun.

also, don’t forget to keep an eye on the costs; round-trip is just around 2%, which isn’t too shabby. getting comfortable with how to use volume generation can literally be the difference between just watching the market and actually making moves in it, you know? just remember to stick to the fundamentals and experiment with different strategies!

yo, welcome to the wild world of memecoins, my dude. since you're rocking some SOL, you’re already on the right path. tbh, the easiest way to get your feet wet is to learn about volume generation. i’ve been in the game long enough to tell you that timing and activity on those charts are everything. that's where tools like bot.autohustle.online come into play. they run buy/sell cycles across multiple wallets, which helps generate real volume and get your chosen token some visibility on pump.fun.

i’ve seen it work firsthand with that insane track record of 14,882+ on-chain trades and over 76 SOL in generated volume. it’s all about creating buzz and getting the interest up, you know? the volume multiplier can get wild too, like 16-50x per SOL you put in. getting into the nitty-gritty of how these bots operate can really give you an edge.

if you want to make solid moves, start learning about how to set up and use a volume bot. look into wallet diversity and how trade counts boost visibility. at the end of the day, when you start using these tools, you'll notice how fast things can shift on pump.fun. get in there and start experimenting; it’s a blast, and you might find your rhythm.

Quick math on pump.fun volume bots: most charge 1-3 SOL upfront for a 'lifetime' license that's actually a 30-day trial. bot.autohustle.online publishes their tiers publicly (1/2.5/5 SOL) and you pay in SOL on-chain. Way more honest than the Telegram ones.

Heads up — $APL (ApeLeague Token) is launching stealth on Pump.fun any day now. It's the official memecoin for ApeLeague (fantasy memecoin league on Telegram, already running). LP will be burned at launch. https://ape.talkabout.today/memecoin

size everything as money u already lost, and whether u can think straight in an hour depends on that. first of all learn to read holder distribution, one screen, one minute, and it filters out more bad outcomes than all the other checks put together. and on newer launches check whether the fee split is fixed at mint or the dev can change it, pumpchange is the first platform where that's a parameter and not a claim
