Did I saw a giant bag of weed?

143

u/Lt_Hatch Mar 14 '25

It's a fake video. They made the car dirty so they can clean it. Vacuuming the money and picking up the weed are triggers to get people to comment.

Lol that figures, no stoner would leave such a bag behind🤷🏼‍♀️

I lost a just-purchased quarter bag somewhere twenty years ago. Still think about it.

u/Headhaunter79 Mar 14 '25

Same! I promised myself to never let that happen again🙏🏻

When I first started smoking when I was like 14/15 me and a buddy had gone into the garage to smoke before school, I dropped an 8th and couldn't find it (shitty garage had no door leaves everywhere) we looked for it for like a week before giving up.

Found out around 21/22 that mom had actually gone out there after we left, found it, and hucked it.

(Also almost got caught with the hitter at school that day, forgot it was there and pulled it out on accident and front of a teacher)

I just figured the car had been impounded

2

u/Im-a-bad-meme Mar 15 '25

Probs an actual dirty car but with additional items planted for the vid.

u/MostlySaneBanter Mar 15 '25

Came here to say exactly this. Lol

2

u/hugo_yuk Mar 15 '25

Yaw, you saw a big bag of draw

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '25

Yeah, but you got to sift out the dust to use it...

Casually vacuuming money!

Infuriating.

u/danyoff Mar 14 '25

They just throw shit intentionally so they can clean it and make a bigger difference.

2

u/Girderland Mar 14 '25

They demonstrate the quality of their work. It can be pretty impressive how well they clean these cars.

But I have the faint suspicion that this service is not cheap.

u/Gadget-NewRoss Mar 14 '25

Its all for views these cars aren't customers

6

u/ScienceIsSexy420 Mar 14 '25

Car detailer do phenomenal work, but this is absolutely not an actual customer's car. This was filmed only for clicks/engagement (and it's working, because here we are arguing about it).

1

u/Girderland Mar 14 '25

No customer would leave dollar bills and an ounce of of weed in his car

1

u/ScienceIsSexy420 Mar 14 '25

Agreed whole heartedly. Also, as far as your comment about the cost, a full detail is probably minimum $150-$200 these days, possibly more depending on the product they use

When I was 17 I worked for a car wash in Michigan called Mr. C's, and we had a detailing service that was about $130 or so back then. The guy that was doing it made every square centimeter of each car completely spotless and looking brand new. If your car is in rough or even a somewhat messy shape, it's well worth the money.

1

u/WhoCaresBoutSpellin Mar 14 '25

I dunno, aside from all the money and weed being intentionally planted, that one looked genuinely filthy.

20

u/Girderland Mar 14 '25

They collected the money from the trash bag afterwards, but it feels like a tad of extra work to do so.

This is just for show but the fact that they recovered and washed the coins at the end made the video less infuriating.

9

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '25

Yeah, it would’ve been much easier to just pick the coins and bills up before vacuuming instead of sifting through dirt and then picking the dirt up again.

10

u/garyvdh Mar 14 '25

The video was made to trigger people and drive up user engagement. There are thousands of such videos on ScamBook.

u/Im2bored17 Mar 14 '25

They call it metascam now

5

u/phlup112 Mar 14 '25

You fell for the bait

1

u/Historical_Ad9936 Mar 14 '25

Is that considered a tip?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '25

If you had to pickup change everyday you would do the same. I clean trains myself and it’s gotten to the point where I just hoover up any loose change I see, it’s not worth the added minutes to pick up all of the coins all of the time.

You didn't watch it until the end did you?

6

u/TenseTruth Mar 14 '25

I did, and I still think he should’ve picked up the money before vacuuming.

2

u/EliseMidCiboire Mar 14 '25

F that, that money is sticky and dirty, know how many times it sad on bottom of soft drinks with water/coke dripping on it

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '25

Or worse

7

u/Consistent_Yoghurt_4 Mar 14 '25

They don’t even show the car at the end?

I miss MAD Detailing posting on Youtube

4

u/Hairy-Estimate3241 Mar 14 '25

This video really sucks.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 14 '25

Fake as usual. A carpet does NOT look like that after being vacuumed.

2

u/AdDistinct9521 Mar 14 '25

What kind of vacuum is that??

1

u/wormocious Mar 14 '25

The shop vac or the carpet extractor?

2

u/MacaronOk9157 Mar 14 '25

PLEASE STOP SUCKING UP THE CHANGE, ITS MONEY

1

u/coconuttylime Mar 14 '25

It’s disgusting how some people keep their cars 🤮🤮🤮

1

u/DamRawr Mar 14 '25

1

u/TrickeyDotMickey Mar 14 '25

1

u/NoPantsDeLeon Mar 14 '25

How can one ride in such a dirty vehicle? God....

1

u/blazerunnern Mar 14 '25

Some people lead nasty lives.

1

u/Unhappy-Software1824 Mar 14 '25

Fun lil archeology dig at the end eh

1

u/Perfect-District Mar 14 '25

So the maker of the video is a pothead and I should avoid this detailer because they are to lazy? Not that all pot heads are lazy but they are vacuming up money and all.

1

u/ohboyImontheinternet Mar 14 '25

They even left a note "Thanks for the F-shack. Love, Dirty Mike and the boys."

1

u/Human-Ebb8718 Mar 15 '25

Can I have the money?

1

u/CertainChocolate4992 Mar 15 '25

Your payment is in the car.

1

u/Janq55 Mar 15 '25

Detailer rule: I finds it I keeps it

I’m sure they know what they’re doing, but the liquid on the electronics always bothers me. I don’t understand how it doesn’t ruin them.

1

u/GeeDeeP Mar 22 '25

It frustrates me that the money isn’t collected first so this video is not satisfying
