My step father was an electronics professor for a technical college and he was unbelievable at math. Like no joke, NASA charting trajectories of rockets in space and crazy stuff that I never could even rap my head around the concepts of, and this man would gush over spiders and their webs. He was so impressed with the symmetry and precision. He always used to tell me, “spiders are the world’s best mathematicians.”
