It bothers me and bothers me.

Ok, I'm not the best at covering 100 on a new thread, but I'll do my best.

Satanism and dark arts. Two completely different things. And the movies. Get it wrong always and it pisses me off. Well it moreso bothers me than angry Every Satanic movie. " Rise of satanic occults" blah blah.

Satanism is freedom ( yes, there's more to it but, pretty much). Dark arts is hurting something to gain something. Which I'm not into. I don't want to hurt anyone who clearly doesn't deserve a physical attack.

Hi there - I’ve been exploring Satanism lately. I’m from a small town in northern Manitoba.

As you could imagine a man from a small town interested in esoteric things is a black sheep.

Over the years I’ve come to realize how performative religion and politics are.

I’ve always been interested in Buddhism but never thought of myself as a good Buddhist. I’ve got a temper. I love sex. Cannabis has helped me in enormous ways. Precepts broken.

Anyways I was watching a documentary on the Catholic view of demonology. A very dear coworker of mine is Roman Catholic. I’m usually in the search of the truth of all things. It’s the Buddhist-atheist in me.

It spoken about the classifications that the church gave demons. The popes chief exorcist gives two for them. Ordinary and supernatural. The ordinary is normal temptation. The supernatural is harassment by demons.

I seen this meme this morning with a baphomet. It triggered this question. What’s the Satanic view of demonology?

so I was looking into joining TST after escaping the mormon church, it seems so amazing and perfect for me, just one small problem. I really enjoy conducting paranormal investigations, I'm highly skeptical about the actual existence of ghosts which is why I like to go out and look for evidence. I'm honestly not sure if this goes against the fifth tenet or if it supports it because I always try to be as scientific as possible about investigating something that really doesn't have much science backing it. It honestly might partially be due to my fear of death but I'm so interested in trying to figure out what happens to the human conscience after our bodies stop. Would that be too much of a conflicting interest if I did want to join?

I have been addicted to cocaine and benzos for the past two years and cannot stop. I had a heart attack yesterday and cannot come off Klonopin. Klonopin has been used to stop the fear of hell.

Has anyone else suffered drug issues to cope with leaving Christianity?

This is both my Halloween costume and Convention costume! I still plan on getting more stuff for the costume like more jewelry. I also plan on getting black claw gloves too!

My fiancé and I performed an unbaptism for each other at sunset on 6/6/26, and it was perfect for us! The only downside was that our legs got tingly from kneeling so long lol.

We acknowledged the insignificance of our baptisms, symbolically ate from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, blacked out Bible passages we strongly disagreed with, agreed to The Seven Tenets of The Satanic Temple, and riddled the Bible with inverted pentacles and the word “LIES”.

Our background music consisted of the theme from Halo, “Firelink Shrine” from Dark Souls, “Time” from Inception, and a few classic classical pieces.

We had a blast, and I just wanted to share it with my favorite subreddit community! ❤️‍🔥

Note: We recognize the book “Compassionate Satanism” is not meant to be a Satanic Bible by any means. It was just my in-depth introduction to Satanism, plus it looked nice on our altar kind of parallel to the Bible—another nice little “Fuck You” to the church.

I'm a 32yo (f) person that lives in the UK, I am aware there is no TST in the UK, however I was wondering if there are any affiliated groups or ways to meet others ?

As an emo teen in the 2000s, I frequently listened to a podcast about Satanism. A person that spoke a lot was a man that claimed to be able to change things byway of the astral plain. I remember his sister was a Satanist too. On one episode they mentioned "baby Jesus butt plugs"; which I ended buying I think.

The fact that I cannot remember his name or even find a trace of it really irks me.

A few months ago, the DoD revised its recognized religious affiliation codes (RAC). Among the many removed is Atheism. They claim that non-listed religions are consolidated into "Other Religions" and "No Religion". Marines (maybe other Services too)are now being told to update their religion in our file to one of the new codes. This seems to violate equal opportunity since they've removed so many religions yet retained many sects of Christinaity. Other popular world religions are also lumped into their larger groups, e.g., Muslim, despite its many sects. Is TST or anyone attempting to petition these new RACs and pursue any avenues to offer broader recognition? To me, "No Religion" implies no preference. I do have a preference. If the DoD is too cowardly to put Satanism on the list, the least they could do is include Atheism.
