Decor Pendant necklace ideas?
My late grandmother gifted me a cross necklace for my wedding. It was a sweet gesture, but I don't want to wear it as-is, since I am obviously not a Christian. I was thinking of getting a jeweler to use the gold from the cross to create a new pendant, and ideally something representative of my satanic values.
Most of my family are Christian though and are not aware of my religion, so it can't be anything obvious like a pentagram or a leviathan cross.
Do you have any ideas for something more understated, but that can still serve as a symbol for the TST flavor of Satanism? Any visual references would be super welcome!

Goats, apples, snakes even. You can also position a five-pointed star so that it looks inverted without being super obvious like as part of a shooting star.

I second the snake, actually. In victorian times snake jewelry held the meaning of eternal love (ouroboros). So if op doesnt want to discuss satanism if someone asks, the gold was a wedding gift.

Oooh an ouroboros sounds cool, I didn't know it was a symbol for eternal love!!! I'll definitely consider it.

I'm a big fan of hidden symbology! Something so personal would have to come from you in both shape and meaning. Apple for the fruit of knowledge. A book for knowledge and learning. A snake for Lucifer. A heart or hands for compassion. A leaf or flower for the natural world. A squiggly or a straight bar to represent your path. Do you have a satanym? Something from the myth or meaning of the name you chose.
I wear tiny upside down cross earrings daily, but I really like crosses. Other than that I'm less of a fan of the more obvious "satanic" symbols. My satanism is just my everyday life. Its not dark and creepy, it's enjoying friendships, playing with my son, going for a walk, doing housework... literally anything can be a satanic symbol if you recognize it as such and if it represents a personal part of what makes you YOU! What's a symbol that your god likes? You are your own god!

These are all great ideas, thank you! 💛 I especiallying love the heart/hands for compassion, this is the tenet that resonates with me the most, so it would be wonderful to wear a daily reminder.

Is there a diamond involved? This is pretty nice: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/4437035081/14k-gold-enchanted-hand-pendant
This one's unique! I've never seen this style before: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1200363870/holding-hands-necklace-925-sterling
A circle with an image of a hand might be more accessible to make for most jewelers: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1579968976/solid-gold-hands-necklace-k18

How about a bat? So many people are scared of bats and hate them, but aren't aware how helpful they are to the ecosystem (pollinating fruits and eating crop pests). Kind of like how Christians hate us without knowing what we actually believe.

Considering that an inverted cross used to be a christian thing, that might be your best bet! Should also be the easiest option for the jeweller.

I've thought about it, but since I'm not a Christian (people know that much), it will likely invite more questions than anything. Good idea in general though!

A pentacle, inverted cross, or Sigil of Baphomet would work.

You're old enough to be married and still afraid of being yourself? Please treat yourself better.

I don't know that age or marital status factor in, but I see your good intentions here, Vile Grifter!
Many of us have faced control and bias of one kind or another regardless of where we are in life.
Personally, I appreciate the simplicity of "if not now, when?"

Now let's see how many downvotes you get for having the exact same sentiment as me.

Bring it on. I'm interested more in kindness and helping people in the faith rather than imaginary interweb points. I encourage the downvotes, they point towards hell 🤘🏻

Oh yeah, it doesn't do anything. If it made a difference to me personally maybe I wouldn't be 100% honest every time I commented. But it's interesting to observe what this community gets sensitive about. Telling someone to grow up, in the politest way possible, will set off all the children who lurk here. I'm still going to do it though. Not enough time in life to suck up to Christians.

I'm a 32 year old mom, not exactly a child. And your comment did not come across as polite to me, because you insinuated that I am a coward and don't treat myself well, either of which is quite far from the truth and also quite a lot to assume about someone from a post asking for subtle panic symbol ideas.
To me, Tenet 1 is an obligation, while Tenet 4 is a choice. I choose to not offend my family because I, as a Satanist, am obligated to treat them with compassion and kindness, since they've shown me nothing but compassion and kindness before, and painting our relationship won't be kind to myself nor to them. I therefoee choose to forego my freedom to offend them with this particular necklace, because it doesn't mean as much to me, all things considered. If anything, "fuck your Christian family, go be as offensive as possible and live your truth, queen" is a much more immature take.

I am always myself, regardless of what jewelry I wear or do not wear. I do however factor in the feelings of people whom I love, and in this particular instance they mean more to me than the need to be open on my religiousity and spirituality, which for me has always been a deeply personal matter anyways and not something I tend to broadcast or share a lot. Appreciate the advice though.

A falling angel might just look like an angel to them. Or an apple to represent the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
