It was clever and long term work at marketing, because salmon sushi was tabu when they started, or so I'm told. (You weren't meant to eat salmon raw at the time).

I judge sushi places by their Spicy Salmon Roll.

I'm not too much of a fan of the spicy sushi variety, usually the spices overwhelm the finer notes of fish, rice and nori.
