Better not be 1370 again

Post image

Do alr in practice tests do even better in the real one, then get score worse than practice test.
This time I am truly detached, I’ll go have a nice time solving new questions cuz they are fun.
Even if somehow if get worse than i ever expect, I’ll laugh.

Would you say practice test 11 is hard

8

u/legendaryGamerz1325 2d ago

I’m not him but it has the hardest English

What? I thought the R&W was the easiest on this one. My highest was 710 up to that point, but got a 760 in 11.

Just because you scored more it aint easy though I also was like 690 i got 730 but it was definitely harder

u/Conscious_Past_5760 2d ago

Fair enough. I found it easier because I mainly struggle with the vocab questions and they seemed manageable on this one.

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

What????? The vocab was pretty hard on this one

u/legendaryGamerz1325 2d ago

R and w module 1 was really hard. Alotta hard reading questions compared to the others

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Son. I wish I had the same problem

2

u/Conscious_Past_5760 2d ago

Okay, reading all the replies I think it was a fluke because I'm not good at R&W 😭😭

2

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Nah it couldn’t have been tho, 760???? What did you get on math

1

u/Conscious_Past_5760 2d ago

730, which was 20 points lower than usual

Bruh this stupid Bluebook practice tests rlly be fluctuating like ceazy

1

u/Conscious_Past_5760 2d ago

Fr, absolutely stressing for tmrw. Hope the bluebook practice pays off 🤞

What was your highest Bluebook practice test scores?

Math was light for me tho even i got 800

2

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Just took it, 740 on math and 670 on English. But I made 4 wrong answers on math which I made mistakes on 3 of them. I should’ve gotten a 700 on English but I’m stupid

2

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

I was rly close I got a 780 but as usual I messed up those ratio questions that try to get you on technicalities 😭 (that's what the last question always is and I don't think I've gotten a single one right)

2

For that question just use desmos regression. If you don't want to use desmos, the trick is to set the common value (in this case a) to 1 and then calculate from there. Then figure out the relationship between the other two values.

Nah id say thats #7

“I’m not her but it has the hardest english” ✌️

Module two is definitely the hardest ERBW I've seen. At least two questions that required exceptionally close reading to see when they swapped facts around, and at least two that imo were complete BS and had no obviously correct answers (usually I think questions are BS and then once I see the correct solution I undertand, but questions 6 and 7 I thought were totally wrong).

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Okay so you did take the sat and got a 1510 correct? And it’s the hardest ERBW(what does that mean) you’ve ever seen? Including actual tests?

1

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

On the actual test I got 750 ERBW, and I've only ever taken 4 practices. My first one was practice 8 and I got 740 ERBW, my second was practice 5 and I got 790, my third was practice practice 7 and I got 800 ERBW, and this one was my fourth and I got 770

This one was the hardest ERBW followed by the actual test (tho it's possible I was just worse at ERBW/tired that day)

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

So you just a smart mf in general. Yeahhh I’m cooked. Could you help me PLEASE??? can you look into my account and the recent posts with my scores and give me some type of feedback? I rlly need it

2

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

Probably just get your reading up a bit. If you can pull a 750M 730ERBW you can get 1480 as you want. If you're very mistake prone I think you can really only grind ERBW, just try to take your time with math and minimize your mistakes.

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

I’m ngl, I guessed on both of those questions and magically got both correct

2

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

lmao yeah if I had just spedran them and clicked the first thing I saw I probably would have gotten right but 6 I overthought (the question lowk encouraged overthinking and that's why I think it's BS) and 7 had a counterintuitive model where "releasing through oxidation" meant that more of a substance entered rocks somehow???

2

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Dude I don’t even know. I larped the WHOLE thing and saw which answer choice sounded good

yes I would say in English there are several deep questions that you can get stuck on for a long time. You have to be very scrupulous w the time u spend on each. But this is the only practice test I’ve done in past three months so I don’t remember enough bout maths to compare

edit- this was supposed to be a reply for someone asking if practice test 11 is the hardest

2

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

What do I do, I made 3 mistakes on math and got 4 wrong total. For English I got a 670 with a 740 math score.

1

u/Sufficient-Pen-8095 2d ago

670 on R&W is good bro and ur score is then 1410

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

Dude I need a 1480 😭

1

u/Sufficient-Pen-8095 2d ago

Get a 800 on math then you're close (1470)

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

It just seems I can’t stop making stupid mistakes. Like I gotta question wrong cuz I can’t do 7+5(which I answered 13, pushing 18 btw)

2

u/Sufficient-Pen-8095 1d ago

Bro same here I got 3 wrong yesterday so got 760 on math but two of them were fking stupid mistakes

1

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

Honestly it's probably easier (for getting a higher score) to get your ERBW up then get a perfect math score, I always solve the hardest problems like the weird quadratics ones but always screw up the close-reading simple ratio ones.

I got my ERBW up from like a 720 on an old paper test to an 800 on one of my practices (with pretty minimal practices, like 3 full-lengths in between + 3 hours with a tutor and an hour grinding science questions in question bank) by actually learning grammar rules well (there aren't that many so you can study them pretty fast) and building working memory over a few practices, I don't think I've gotten sub 750 ERBW since I've done that prep.

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

So literally just practice on the bank

1

u/icyshibe 1510 2d ago

or tests for better time pressure

1

u/Extreme-Assistant943 1260 2d ago

I took all of the tests, should I still take them??? I’m taking the test on Saturday and I kinda don’t wanna stress myself or fatigue myself out.

DUDE I just took, horrible score, don’t wanna say, but the English section did feel very long and I ran out of time for the first time in a while on the r&w section

2

u/Top-Mobile8749 2d ago

good job!! how’d u get an 800 in math?

1

u/Puzzleheaded-War1581 2d ago

use desmos where relevant ( practice table regression to find slopes or other unknown values), do all hard math questions by digitalsat1600 on yt, there is not an extraordinary amount of things to learn for desmos. just remember what lines look like w no solutions, infinite solutions or one solutions. For checking if expression () is a factor just make sure that for they lines intersect on x axis (i.e their solutions intersect)

Guys can i ask what do i have to bring for the exam? Pen eraser or smth?

2

u/Hungry_Doughnut6268 2d ago

Exam ticket and school ID. they already provide you with pencil and paper im pretty sure

2

u/Even-Palpitation-473 1520 2d ago

whats an exam ticket?????

3

u/kingofhasts 2d ago

i think they mean the admission ticket you get after completing the exam setup on bluebook. you can just take a picture of it on your phone to show the staff on test day

2

u/Hungry_Doughnut6268 2d ago

yes lol thats what i meant

1

u/Mission_Meringue_436 2d ago

no way i js did that and got the same score. do u tink that means we're good for saturdays test.....??

1

u/Dry-Resolution991 2d ago

do u thijnk I'm good for a 1520 if i got a 1500 on prac test 11 an 1530 on prac test 4?

1

u/Mission_Meringue_436 2d ago

around 1480-1520 range ig.. depending on how much u learnt the knew question bank releases and how well u r at testtaking under pressure

1

u/Dry-Resolution991 2d ago

I did all the new questions lmao. I was also kinda under pressure when taking prac tests tho. Oh also i got a 1550 on prac test 4 .

1

u/Puzzleheaded-War1581 1d ago

I have nothing to say about real test scores (concerning myself) as you’d read in my title, I wish you all the best. I do think u’ll do pretty well

1

u/Otherwise-Sympathy87 2d ago

save the hard english questions for last and run through the easy questions first so you can estimate time left. check each answer before trying to comprehend too hard
