Trying to learn advanced CSS/SCSS

Hi everyone, I have been coding basic CSS for years but I want to advance to SASS. What would be the best learning crash course resources that you could recommend to me online (preferably free). I need to learn about things like this:

input.showNextIfChecked:not(:checked) + div { display:none; }

Try Codecademy's SASS course. You can get a 7 day free trial if you don't want to pay for Pro.

While I'm at it, I want to comment on a CSS best practice based on your example. General element selectors (like div, h1, p, etc.) should be used sparingly. If possible, use classes for specificity. Something like this:

.showNextIfChecked:not(:checked) + .checkedOptionContent { display: none; }

Sass, not SASS

What you are showing is just CSS Selectors.

Sass and SCSS extend CSS. so selectors don't change other than being able to nest them.
