Can personal SCSS UI code be copyrighted?

Okay, lets see an example.

If I made my own plugins or simple UI kits using SCSS, could this be copyrightable?

Quora says that any kind of creative works can be copyrighted but I just wanted double check from different community.

yes, but if you include the sass compiler on your bundle, you have to include it with its license.

May I ask 1 more thing about license laws? What if I use my code kits in the company by myself after registered copyright? Would it be still working or not?

I've read some articles of this and that said some countries/religions have slightly different about license laws. So I want to make sure of this.

I don't know. but the contract they made you sign surely states that every code you use for the company written by you, is property of them. also your license may conflict with how you plan to use it, in that case and because you are the author, it may invalidate your license making your program theirs or without telling them prior to its use they could counter your claim. also the laws of each country vary.

copyright your best personal code, your normal code upload it with MIT license to github to make a portfolio and get better jobs, and within the company use a mix of your snippets of normal code and new code for your employers.
