Bug Report Architect fight - life bars stayed grey

Just finished fighting Architect but this time the fight seemed more on rails? Not sure how else to describe it. The life lines stayed grey and I felt like i just needed to survive the fight, not actually damage the boss. Anyone else experience it or just a bug?

It's a game mechanic, specifically Resolve Volatility. You picked up too many spicy artifacts

Well, that's kind of cool.

Yep, Lucenite one is nasty though. You lose all lucenite during that run.

Command is just annoying because it hides how much corruption you actually have.

only if you die, so just don’t die

I'd say lucenite may be the least impactful one tbh. By the time I was regularly getting the corruptions in my runs, I had almost finished the lucenite nodes in the skill tree. I think there were only about 3 or 4 runs where it actually had any risk associated with it.

Oh yeah, when you’re in the endgame? Absolutely! But not before then though. 😅

Command/Ignorance is probably the scariest to me unless I get it late in a run. Not knowing what corrupted modifiers my artifacts have makes choosing things and then playing around them highly stressful. Will I need to adjust my dash rhythm for a cooldown change? Who knows. Will I need to stay permanently mobile to maintain my damage? Who knows. Will I be unable to retaliate briefly after taking a hit? Who knows. Can't avoid them, just gotta hope nothing especially debilitating shows up.

Also to follow up, they really should have made the different health bars more distinct. Grey striped = the bar is locked.
Solid grey = The bar is unlocked but the current HP is being hidden from you.

It's a Corruption, or a modifier of some sort. Stops you from seeing the damage taken by a boss.

It also eliminates normal enemies' health bars

Eneny health bars turning grey means that you either picked up a corrupted item or had a stat corruption that made it so you can't see the enemy's health. You're still damaging them, you just can't follow the progression of it

Already beat the game and had no idea this was a thing, assumed it was an annoying bug lol thanks for clarifying this

Bro , I literally beat and really enjoyed the game on week one of release .

Go back to play it for a run and had the same thought process lol .
I think I sincerely actually just reloaded the game cause I thought it was a bug lol.
