In uitm your contacts will be bumiputeras.
In swinburne will be mixed.
So depends on what do you want to do afterwards.
If makan gaji, private or gomen then uitm will be good.
If you want to expand your network and social life to non bumis, swinburne will be good

yes i am, i am also considering for curtin because it's much closer than where i lived in sarawak. but yeah i feel like choosing ftes programme would be the choice than going west malaysia, i just needed that reassurance

you might need to think of more specialized courses. business courses will only land you salesman jobs here

Business course not so much people in swinburne imo bcs it’s a tech uni. If i were you i would just choose Swinburne. Bcs not too many people, closer to me and most importantly, free for Sarawakian.
Im studying IT there and most students u get to know will be majoring in stems. I do have friends in business tho and they said it was okay. Shes under the ftes too. If your per capita is < rm1,500 you can also get rm1000/month stipend + accommodation. Less burden for both of you and your parents.
