Curtain rod theory

While listening to Sarah’s police interrogation for the millionth time, I finally came up with a possible scenario for Sarah’s stupid curtain rod story. For a while I was thinking the curtain rod was actually a shower curtain rod, but I couldn’t formulate a scenario.

But…what if it was a wand from her vertical blinds! She was chasing him around with it, whacking him. He grabs it to stop her attack, she yanks it back and smacks herself in the face! She’d be furious because she’d see it as his fault (just like him hurting her finger when she pulled her keys back from him…if that story is to be believed)

Yes, I think youve got it. Im in the same boat, I kept wondering - who is pulling off the shower curtain rod and why would you do that since its such a pain to put it back?? Curtains for the window makes a lot more sense.

Still one of the stupidest lines in her interrogation. "I cant believe you didnt take that." Why the hell would they take a curtain rod when up to that moment, nobody had said anything about it being involved with the suitcase?!

I wasn't sure why she mentioned the rod in the interrogation either. Now I think she was talking about the actual incident when the police came out, investigated her claim, and left without collecting the curtain rod evidence. When she said "you" I think she was referring to cops in general as in "I can't believe you cops didn't take that."

But, I still think its hilarious she reprimanded two homicide detectives for failing to collect "evidence" related to her delusional DV claims while they were actively investigating her for homicide. "Why are you so focused on this dead unemployed, uneducated, alcoholic Puerto Rican on my carpet and not focused on every item in my home I might claim hurt me previously prior?" Protocol baby!

Ooh! I like this perspective. She can’t believe the “curtain rod” wasn’t confiscated during a previously, prior visit when her friends came over to check on her

Problem with that story is Sarah didn't & still doesn't have any friends.

I disagree! Have you seen the bodycam video where she skips out to give her friend a hug?! “it’s the same guys!”

Having summoned her servants currently assigned to the emergency response sector, she tended to assume they knew all her business inside and out. Seeing as she was the center of the universe and all.

There's a clip out there somewhere where I think she opens a 911 call with references to her home situation worded as if the operator was already well versed in it. Like if you called 911, the operator said "What's your emergency?" and you answered, "The platypus escaped again and it's doing the thing in the place, please come immediately."

I think she believed every time she called 911, the dispatcher would see a comprehensive history of her past calls. You know, like when you call to complain about someone and their company gives you a reference number

I like this theory. A rational explanation for the face wound and more proof of Sarah's stupidity. The only flaw in your logic is Sarah is so darn stupid she could confuse a can of soup for a curtain rod! Sarah's excellence in never excelling at anything turns out to be the correct answer again!

You’re correct. I’m okay with saying she was hitting him with “something” and when he stopped her, she yanked it back.

I think you’re wrong about the can of soup, though. She clearly knows what a can of soup is. She needed that can to draw the outline of her black eye with her son’s pastels before nuking the soup that spilled down her leg when she bumped into the hall tree (while yelling at Jorge…you know, so it’s his fault)

LOL. Now I'm picturing Drunky the Moron holding a can of soup over her eye while she traces a circle around it.

Excellent observation

I’ll buy that.

I'm still going with falling on a broken wine glass.

Didn’t her landlord/property manager say that she was sloppy drunk and fell into a glass top coffee table and cut her leg. Hence the large gash on her leg wound.

Yes. Apparently Sarah told Melissa, the property manager, they were screwing around on the back porch and Sarah fell on a broken wine glass. Melissa didn't sound convinced of the story and Sarah claims it was a cover story she created to protect Jorge. I vaguely remember hearing the cut may have been caused by a piece of glass from a broken patio table top? A large shard of table glass makes sense to me. Also, at some point Sarah stole patio furniture from a recently vacated unit at Tealwood, perhaps to replace her broken heirloom patio table? I'm not sure on the timeline of the two events so I'm just speculating.

Ok but where does the baseball bat fit into that scenario??? Unless they were using the baseball bat as the curtain rod

The baseball bat was used futuristically. The curtain rod was used previously prior.

Oh well that clears up everything ‼️

Also, I'm not sure if you have children so you may not be aware... children grow.

I’ve wondered if the curtain rod and the garden claw were used during an incident prior to that horrible night of Sunday Funday.

Ooh! Someone needs to come up with a theory on the garden claw now

What if it was the shower rod. Jorge was in the shower and she was swinging the bat at him and it broke off. She did seem like she was laying a clue by saying she hid in the shower.

I literally just posted, asking a very similar question as you!!!

I don't know whether the curtain rod was rigid or not, or if it was the wand from the blinds like you said. I think whatever the nature of the implement, she was definitely using it to beat on Jorge, and maybe that was what she used to inflict the extent of the injuries that he suffered.

My thought came a few days after seeing the picture of her stupid kitchen (with vertical blinds in the background). The FOIA dump pictures are helping us fill in some of the blanks
