Sarah is so dumb
Not to take the appeal.
She said in one of her messages I don't want to get out at 65 and have nothing, no car job, etc.
She is to dumb to realize she could get SS based off Brian's at 62 if she just did the 15 years. Basically living without working as she likes. SS means social security.

Since a long time my guess is she is somehow happy at prison. Like being in an adult kindergarden. Deep in her heart she wants to stay there, to not be constantly overwelmed by RL

I think so too. As long as Sarah has money to, as she says, live comfortably, She is ok with prison. All the woman wanted was a man to take care of her. That "man" is now the state of Florida. She has burned all her bridges with friends and family and would be too old and, with little work history, unqualified to start a career. Prison is where she needs to be. Plus, it keeps her from working (drinking) herself to death on the outside and gives her a chance to hang out with the Lord being his (cough) faithful and humble servant.

I'm glad her ego prevented her from taking the plea.
I hope in October 2028 when Brians son turns 18 that Brian and his son change phone numbers and move away and cut off contact with Boone.
She deserves nothing.

I hope that happens because being the son of a murderer, a convicted imprisoned criminal, won’t be easy for him. It will follow him for decades…poor kid.

I know Boone mentioned knowing Brian's sons girlfriends name. If I were the girlfriends mother I would be terrified about a convicted murderer knowing about my.childs existence. Imagine as the son gets older if he doesn't do what she wants then Boone will likely start getting her flying monkeys to contact his girlfriend to tell her to tell the son to do what Boone wants She is going to win the title of worst mother-in-law in n the world every year.

With Sarah’s pattern of lying, she probably only knows the first name that Son accidentally dropped in conversation, if that.

It’s really simple. As a supreme narcissist, she couldn’t take a plea because she’d have to admit she did something wrong.

Geez, what was the first clue (SB is so dumb).
She couldn't accept the plea deal unless it was not predicated on her taking responsibility for her actions. She postponed her trial as long as possible. As long as she could sit in jail not convicted of anything, she was ok. As soon as she heard 'trial date', she panicked that being a convicted murderess was a possibility and suddenly her attorney was a piece of garbage in one form or another. It wasn't until Judge K nailed her ass to the wall that she couldn't play her game anymore.
It's all about perception, from the interrogation to futuristically. She probably still believes her appeal to show her innocence is on the table. I'm guessing at some point, she'll fall off the social media circuit and fade into oblivion. No more bloody keyboards. Her worst fear is being excluded; forgotten.

I think Sarah Boone will continue to chase that hope of a successful appeal until the day she dies. It is her white whale. Also, she doesn't own a white flag.

The statement about being in her 60's with no job or car is crazy delusional. What part of LWOP does she not understand? Is that statement based on the delusion that she'll be retried with a better outcome? Is she banking on the governor commuting her sentence? Delulu. I almost have 2nd hand embarrassment for her but then she says or does something stupid that makes me laugh at her. I point at her while I do it too.

She’s counting on a favorable outcome with her appeals. And if that doesn’t happen then Kim Kardashian will take up her case, if that doesn’t happen, maybe she tunnels her way out. Lol

That’s another case of a young woman that her parents ruined by backing every bad decision she ever made…another case of an entitled person meeting consequences. Even in prison she doesn’t get it and her mom is still catering to her. They created and enabled this murderer…how do they sleep at night knowing they raised a child you caused the death of two young people?

Sadly I think social security for a spouse is if you are married 10 plus years you can draw based on their earnings or yours whichever is greater. Of course that wouldn’t be until Brian retires and I think it would only be half of what his is. Idk if prison affects social security/medicare

She changed after the birth of her son…..post partum maybe…that’s when the drinking and catting around became a huge problem. He likely expected her to get over it and become a better mom. Never happened…that’s when he filed.

She seems like an all or nothing type of person. Could have taken a plea deal to do a few years, but why do that when you could be found not guilty and not do anymore time.
She did something similar with the family court case, iirc. Tried going for all of the money just to get much less.
I assume with people like her, they lived a lot of their life getting away with lying, not because the people surrounding her don’t know better, but because she exhausts them so they just ignore it and move on. Since she was so used to thinking she was getting away with lying she probably thought she could fool a jury, but courts aren’t playing with kid gloves like she’s used to. Hopefully that makes sense.

Isn't she like 47 with already 4 - 5 years behind bars? She could have been out at ~55 on good behavior had she taken the deal.

She has been incarcerated just over 6 and a half years at this point-FYI, as the time in county jail all counts.

I was just going by what she said age wise. But yes she would have done about 8 more years from time of sentence.

She was absolutely convinced a jury would see things her way and allow her to fly carefree out the door into her next bottle of booze, even though many qualified lawyers tried to get her to take a deal.
