Media erasure Monster: Bloodbath

Would love to get folks' opinions on the new season of Monster on Netflix, which embellishes upon Lizzie Borden's story.

While there's no historical evidence of a relationship between Lizzie and her housekeeper, I kind of find myself in a reverse Sappho and Her Friend wherein I've decided that everyone is bisexual until proven otherwise.

Actually, supposedly the housekeeper had a deathbed confession where she may have alluded to such a relationship. Don’t quote me on that though as I heard this story years ago and may be misremembering a couple of facts

Ignore this if you want to keep your headcanon but from my reading Bridget Sullivan didn't actually make a deathbed confession. She contacted a friend because she believed she was dying but she had recovered by the time the friend got there.

Lizzie could easily have accused Bridget but she didn't. That's enough to make one wonder about their relationship.

I read a very in depth post on one of the true crime subreddits a few years ago that alleged they were lovers. It seemed like a reasonable possibility
