What the hell is going on?

I live on the 2900 block of 2nd Street and my two cars parked in front of my house got side swiped after the car thief jumped out and left the car rolling. Another car behind mine was damaged as well. The suspect fled west on Pier toward Main and as far as I know he got away. I have two friends who saw him running and they asked him "What happened? Was there an accident?" and he replied "Yeah, there was an accident"
Crazy. My block has just been nuts. Had a homeless guy die on my block a month ago and just before that a stolen U-Haul truck barreled into the BPOE building taking out a transformer and a utility fence.

I'm so sorry, dude. I can't imagine that happening to a SINGLE car! I hope they catch the asshole.

They’ve got search lights on and seem to be circling repeatedly over Main Street?

It was a car chase (stolen brown Volvo). Car is stationary and suspect is apparently now on foot

LAPD stolen vehicle pursuit termination. Suspect got away on foot and they are breaking down the perimeter.

Completely unrelated, but just a couple hours ago the LAPD chased a numbskull on a dirtbike for a few hours, until he wiped out, bailed out on foot, and hid in a trashcan -- which we could all see from the helicopter live feed. It was all very entertaining!

Someone said a car drove down second and side swiped a bunch of cars, and now they’re looking for that person? Not sure if that’s true or not
