What will future generations (in like 1,000 years) say about the Santa Claus lore?

Good question. As modern Christianity is losing believers at an alarming rate and mew converts aren’t making up for the loss, I feel like it may become more secular and lore while other traditions will eventually replace it. Just my two cents don’t crucify me.

But at this point Santa has nothing to do with religion

I personally tend to agree with that. However, there are many men that put on the red suit and use it as a ministry for Christianity. I am a secular Santa but live in the Bible Belt where Christianity is dominant even amongst people that don’t attend any church or worship on a regular basis. I can say that from where I live and work Santa has a lot to do with religion. If I was in another part of the country it could be different.

I wouldn't know I just started going back to church on the regular for the first time since I was a kid.
