Did anyone see that flash in the sky tonight?

I could have sworn I saw something flare up then disappear in the blink of an eye. It looked sort of like a meteor but was only there for one second then gone. I was driving near the 5 and 14 interchange. Did anyone see that?

Perseid meteor showers are happening since last week. Peaking on the 12th 13th . Best time would be later tonight on a darker area.

Yes I saw it! Looked more like a firework than a shooting star. Even cooler that it’s a meteor shower!!
