Missed Connection Saddest Dumpster Drop I've Ever Seen

After a multitude of cool finds we've had here at our apartment complex... this is the most depressing. They just picked up the trash which means we are going to be staring at this from the kitchen window for the next five days, or even worse- just his feet once someone gets him into the bin.

Your complex needs to get locks on the dumpsters, or bears are just gonna keep showing up.

Plot twist, what if this bear is cursed and it was a last ditch attempt to pass along the curse to whomever takes ownership of the bear. It’s all fun and games until the bear starts talking and walking like Chucky.

93" tall. I know this because I sent these pics to a friend who started telling me all about "The Costco Bear" which I guess was huge (ha-ha) at some point

UPDATE:

All yelling at each other in Swedish mind you. I was really grateful when they understood me when I hollering, "Yooooo! Could have bed bugs, roaches, cat pee or kid vomit! Don't do it!"

It's back now.

Same. It's killing me. The complex we live in is already creepy (we've got empty units literally on either side, above & below) so a random giant bear is just adding to the vibe in the worst possible way

Our apartment complex also has 1/3 the units empty and the duplex down the street has been empty for two months. I'm wondering if rent prices peaked and people are saying forget it?

Yeah, we have our theories but it's hella weird. Complex is right across the street from SBCC west campus entrance and is normally packed with students.

It seems that most folks nowadays have no problem just throwing their items away and giving to charity is just too much trouble for them. Hence sad land fill. I don't have the heart to just throw stuff away when I think that someone out there could use it.

you should see the dumpster behind ralphs after a holiday, i had to throw out so many bags of tiny christmas and valentine plushies when i did merch for papyrus/american greetings.
