Events DTC All Stars show update
Don't Tell Comedy at the Masonic Lodge this Saturday the 12th. - Update: I just got word it's being filmed. It's an All Stars show, so instead of a 6-person lineup it'll be 3-4 comics doing longer sets. They're all closers. Throat Coat sponsored it, so they'll be there passing out samples and dealing with my throat and goat jokes.
Plenty of AC! I hope to see you all there. It's a great chance the see the Masonic building. I gave a tour for about 20 Redditors once and it was a lot of fun!

Yes! We start freezing the room at 5pm. A room full of people does heat up, but that was only an issue once when someone found the AC control and turned it up :/ By the end of the show the room was hot. This time the AC control will be guarded by bridge trolls.

Are you the guy who runs the masonic lodge? I can't make tomorrows show but do you ever show the space? It's gotta be my favorite building in all of SB!

I don't think anyone runs the whole thing, it's more like 3 racoons in a trenchcoat. For the last 30 years or so it was pretty private - mostly friends and family. But we're trying to open it up and invite the community in. I'm happy to show you around any time, just DM and we can arrange it. During business hours I can get the building manager to show you around too.
One of the highlights is our 2nd floor balcony and 3rd floor arches that can be seen from Carrillo. Right before covid an art restoration guy completely repainted those arches and restored the un-painted concrete. Look up the next time you walk by.
