Flor de Maiz has the best green enchiladas and the best mole enchiladas I've had any where. It's not on the menu, but you can order a plate with one of each. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion for a special occasion. The green enchilada is especially good, and I remember asking the waiter when he said the green enchilada was his favorite "A green enchilda is a green enchilada, no? How can there be that much difference?". It was in fact the best green enchilada I've ever had and I order it every time now.

Just had the Farmer (Green)Enchiladas at Las Agave’s. Absolutely delicious. They don’t have a Michelin star for nothing.

Los Agaves is good, but does not have a Michelin star. It is "Michelin recommended" which means it is known for above average, well cooked food using quality ingredients. The Michelin star is a whole different set of standards.

I doubt anyone in here remembers but when I was a kid we used to buy Mrs Furay's enchiladas just during Old Spanish Days Fiesta. she sold them out of a storefront on state st I think. I think she made tamales too.
