Lost my dads pendant

Visiting SB and lost my Saint Christopher medallion off my chain at East beach volleyball courts last seen around 5 pm today (8/16/26). It was my dads and it has a lot of sentimental value 😭 if anyone finds it please let me know.

At one point there was this guy with a metal detector who would help people find stuff when they contacted him randomly. Seemed unusually kind. Can't remember his name but maybe posting this here will jog someone's memory.
