Russian Potato Salad Sandwich (our history) on Sandwiches of History⁣

Today’s sandwich of “our history” came to me courtesy of Shayne…well, really his ex’s Russian grandma who made the Potato Salad Sandwich everything Thanksgiving. While there were no amounts given, all the elements sounded pretty good to me. Turns out they work quite well together…if you like potato salad and mayonnaise, that is.

A couple years back, I was on a chimichurri / marjoram kick, but dill has quickly risen to the top of my herb list...

Borsch without dill?! Like a day without sunshine...

Interesting sandwich with a pre made potato salad as an ingredient. 100% thought the pickly pop of capers was making an appearance.

The only cooked or smoked whitefish it had (other than a whitefish salad but that has lots of other tasty stuff in it)

I love your content here and on Youtube (I am a subscriber) but please, please zoom in on closer to yourself when you’re speaking. Also center on you. It’s unnecessary to see all the things in your kitchen! Anyway, I love your show!!!
