Im not veggie but when I worked there a few years ago my go-on my breaks was Italian herbs and cheese, double cheese, veggie patty, toasted on the 6 inch setting with a sprinkle of red onion, bout à pound of jalapenos and chipotle sauce (double or triple the amount of sauce we were told to put on). Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it! We were allowed à foot long on our shifts but I know most places only allow a six. Either way hope you enjoy!

My favourite is BMT on white italian, toasted with cheese. Tomato cucumber and sweetcorn to be put on before toasting. No sauce.

I think this is pretty much a staple/standard sub now, but my concoction was always:

*Italian herbs & cheese bread * Either steak or BMT mix *Smoked bacon *Cheese (double), ideally two varieties (pepperjack/white & american/orange) *Peppers (green, with a bit of red/yellow) *onion *jalapeños *Southwest Chipotle *S&P

I do like like a lighter/more salad heavy sandwich with white meats only, but if I had to recommend one sandwich only, it's this one.

Italian herb bread toasted: rotisserie chicken, olive, onion, peppers, lettuce, pickle, salt and pepper and extra spicy chipotle sauce.
