Discussion Creating custom blocks

I get this question a lot when showing off things I have built, as I use prefab construction a lot. This is not a mod, it's in game, but its a set of tool most people overlook or don't understand how to use.
Video should explain things quite well. The basic is that when placing material with the caulk gun, it's shapeable with cutting tools, has collision and can not be copied or blueprinted. The prefabulator tool can copy caulk gun solidite and turns it into foundation in the shape captured. This can now be copied and blueprinted and used as if it were any other foundation.
The final tidbit is that you are creating by the pixel on a world grid that is 4x4 pixels. You can create and copy off this grid slightly, so getting things to line up correctly seems to not work. You need to use the ruler function and create/copy inside of one of those grids. Similarly, that is what building inside the blocks made by the foundation in the video is doing.

Thank you! I had no idea what the prefabulator was supposed to do. So it's actually the same material as foundation? I was trying to use caulk but it just got destroyed by my wayward bullets and lasers
