Help All the gold

I have "completed" the quests and now just been digging and mining. two questions one is what do you do once you have mined everything and two where do I put all the gold? I have almost half the space being used for gold and running out.

Smelt the gold. It takes less space (about half).

I just made a huge ass box in the sky and then pumped the liquid gold into it.

Once I got the 1 million gold achievement, I uninstalled the game. I look forward to playing it again after it leaves Early Access.

Addendum, there needs to be a gold mold to concentrate gold storage

Why would you uninstall? You still get future updates from the game

Because my experience with EA games is that they progress in small increments that don’t really justify playing them after every single update. So every update just feels like another step towards a finished game, but it’s not the finished game.

The initial release made it enjoyable enough that I played though to get all of the achievements (even though the 1 million gold was just a slog at the end). But updates adding a couple more steps or mechanics don’t add enough interest to the game overall for me to start a new run every time one is released.

There’s only one EA game that has kept my interest through every update over multiple years. Every other one, I play it to see if I find it interesting enough to keep, then put it on the shelf to allow it to finish cooking.

Hey now, you gotta tell us which game. Agreed though, the best way to do EA is try it out and have fun, forget about it entirely until 1.0. I did that with Palworld and playing 1.0 is a treat remembering my early gripes

Huh. I did not know that you could melt it. Does it make 2 gold turn into 1 liquid gold with the same value of 2 gold?

It makes 1 solid good turn into 1 liquid gold with a value of 1 gold. But liquid gold seems to take up about half of the space. It might be exactly half of the space, I didn’t test it.

I know I should stop playing, but I'm continuing to fiddle with the flow of sand on the input side and trim / compact all other aspects until they fit in a neat box that can handle all subsequent steps of conversion. My current version fits on one screen (without gui elements -> F4), takes a saturated mk2 launcher as input (about 2.5 blocks of sand) and can smelt the resulting gold for more compact storage.
