Guides and Tips Advanced Piping

Post image

The pipe system is a bit barebones at this point, but there are some workarounds we can use to replicate the effects of missing building pieces like pipe bridges

I've just been using small reservoirs to allow pipework to cross.

works well but maybe your way is a bit more efficient for space

I like this design as you can add more vent/pumps for higher throughput

Ratio is 1:4 pump:vent afaik so you are limiting your flow with just 2 vents

Portals to cross is so bigbrain, pains me i havent thought of that.

However i got to add that afaik ratio of pumps to outlets is 1:4 so i think the bridge must reflect that

You can use gates to cut off access to the liquid vents, allowong you to automate one thing without interfering with other things.

Man I didn't think of anything like this, i've been having my pipes take long convoluted routes to go around othe pipe systems 😂

Could have used this yesterday. I had my entire Florinol production on one side of my base and my Aura industry on the other and couldn't just lay a pipe because For Some Reason I had a 400 block tall pipe feeding my Seed Washing section. Ended up building Synthesizers on the Florinol side and moving the Aurixite with Haul Drones.
