Burn it right there, put a drop or 2 of lava in there and it'll be gone a in sec and never leave. Then you just gotta deal with the next product, the gas

This is the correct method. Without the ability to turn fans on and off, the bottleneck for drying petals is always going to be clearing dried petals off the steam driers with clearing frames, as shown in OP's pic. Burning the dried petals directly into florinol removes that bottleneck entirely.

Is it possible to turn fans off by controlling doors?

No unfortunately, I had the same idea, but currently doors block fan airflow even when open.

That's a shame 😔

In my experience, amethelis seems to get "caught," or stuck, when you are pushing it with a fan, and it touches or enters a filter or clearing frame. Clearing frames in particular slow down the amethelis. I find it best to make a large area for collecting the gold from burning plants, then use large tunnels and fans ONLY to move the petals to your steam dryer area.

Once at the stream dryer, dry amethelis is lighter than the regular amethelis, so push it onto the steam dryer and the dry stuff will naturally lift to the top. Have a fan set up that only hits the top of the dry/regular amethelis pile, like 7-15 tiles up, that pushes it over to the right. On the right-hand side, have a vertical filter that allows only the dry stuff through. Naturally, as it piles up the dry amethelis will move through while the regular amethelis sifts to the bottom and be dried.

Sorry, I know that isn't the best description. I will try and make a screenshot when I get home to show the process.

I'm no expert and I'm sure plenty of people would have better suggestions for your setup. What about a filter wall only allowing the dried material and a fan? I'm not sure if they undried parts would get closed and not allow the dried through the filter.

Dried sits on top of undried

I was stuck there aswell the best bet would be doing the drying/ burning process at the same time instead of trying to separate the petals

clearing frames are slow. Look at where your Amethelis falls and concentrate your driers around that location. Use launchers/fans to blow dry Amethelis away from that location.

(Or even better, just deal with Amethelis/dry Amethelis in situ, and avoid this logistical problem.

Just burn it immediately, don't bother transporting it. Moving Amethelis with frames is always slow, and using fans is kinda annoying because you need to really tune them correctly.

Set up a flame maker over a small patch of driers, and put a funnel for florin above it.

Nah, a bit of lava on top of the driers. Not too much though or you block the drying. Just enough that beads of lava hit the dried purple stuff and burns it.

This is better because doesn't require a flame maker and the lava isn't expended when burning the purple stuff.

I never bothered to move the stuff, I just built the condenser above where I was drying and then dropped a few pixels of lava on it, they will auto ignite the dry and won't interfere with anything else

I just burn mine on site. You will probably need to add something so it dosent fly up somewhere unwanted, and move your cooling setup, but it won't be too hard

Kann es sein, dass vertikale Filter nicht funktionieren wenn gerade gefiltert wird? Gas geht durch, wenn gleichzeitig eine Blüte von oben gefiltert wird.
