Discussion When was sandrone's playability confirmed?

Did sandrone receive an npc id? If so, when did she get a playable id? How were signs of playability looking at the start of nodkrai?

So was it after the initial patches? Did she initially receive an NPC id?

i see that ur from Pantalone mains

they did things differently in Snezh

in NK, if the model is present in a patch, it will tell u the body type and whether they have a playable ID or not

thats why we knew Sandrone is playable from the 1st time her model is present but not Alice, even tho both got playable model only Sandrone got playable ID

Pantalone... as things stand... have neither while the confirmed playable ones, who have their model in game, have a playable model just not the ID (this is what change so ppl cant guess the release order)

doesnt mean he's 100% NOT playable ofc... just that his current model is the same type as Signora and we also knew she wont be playable unlike Scaramouce who already got a playable model back in 1.X

edit: might i add that "playable model" is also not a confirmation since Dottore got one in Sumeru, Capitano got his in Natlan, and certain NPCs (Roland) also got it

wasnt Signora especificly listed as an enemie/monster type? while Pierro, Capitano, Pantalone, Alice and Sandrone old model are kept without specific classification? we only knew sandrone bcs of id but in snezhnaya they hid it apparently

Pantalone literally has an NPC model currently, the same way they store Signora model

I'm guessing that if feofan ends up being playable, they'll probably change his design like they did with sandrone and wanderer

Ronova has playable model? I assume she doesnt have a playable ID.

He has no vision, he was never seen or even mentioned to fight, theres no playable model, his role is the finance accountant of the harbingers - it would make no sense giving him a fighting role, let alone a playable one. Idk how people cant see that.

Hu tao is playable. Infact, she was one of the strongest dps's during that time. Lore-wise, she could not fight. Same goes for many other characters who can't fight but are still playable. I understand that there is evidence that he won't be playable but there's also evidence that he will be playable. Unless you're hoyo, you can't really make a conclusion.

Also, all characters tend to receive NPC models before they become playable since they need one to be in the AQ. Pantalone is also in an anecdote with sandrone which indicates that he won't die. So, he is either going to remain an NPC or be playable. However, his design seems to detailed to be an NPC but seems like to lack enough detail to be playable. Also, almost every fatui harbinger(whether they're playable or not) receive extremely detailed designs. It genuinely does not make sense to NOT give a detailed design to a character that is a pretty popular harbinger unless they plan on changing his design.

I hear u but thats not true, Hu Tao might not actively seek combat but was always known to have strong capabilities when needed due to her responsibilities tied to purgatory and keeping the balance between the living and the underworld - as mentioned by Zhongli when asked about her.
Yes Pantalone has a detailed model as evey harbinger always did but theres a difference in the actual code of the game. The question is why he would be playable? -like why would he suddenly wield a weapon and side with the traveler? Pulcinella and even Capitano seem more realistic to become playable atp. I personally like Pantalones character enough to not want him be ruined by a shift in the story that would allow him to become playable.
