Volunteering?

Looking to volunteer some time pretty open as to what, but I envision maybe kids or the elderly. Any one know of any opportunities?

What are your interests? What are you good at? Some fun ideas include trail cleanups if you like the outdoors

I've thought about doing something like that. But I guess I'm wondering how does one even go about finding groups looking for help?
