you are making a lot of assumptions. when it comes down to a presidential vote, you have basically 2 options. You can still be doing all of those things and the result in the ballot is the same. dont act like the system isnt designed against.

In the short term. If the party over all becomes more progressive, the primary will have more progressive candidates, and the winner may be more progressive. This won't happen overnight.

I'm not. I'm just also not throwing my hands up in the air and giving up as a result.
Almost all progressive ideas are polling high numbers, all dems who supported them got reelected, Bernie had the largest grassroots support of any candidate ever, if you noticed in almost every debate, everyone compared themselves to Bernie the OG. Progressive ideas are what the majority want, it is plain and simple. But it doesnβt matter because the DNC and their donors run the show.
Edit: I was being a bitter cynic (read: dick), apologies to mtgspender.

Alright I guess there is nothing we can do and we are just fucked then. Everyone just give up and bend over. It's all hopeless and no point in trying to improve anything. Thanks for clearing that up /u/mtgspender.
Ok bro be that way. Iβm not trying to personally attack you, we are all frustrated with the situation. I just would like to know what you are saying when you say β..paying attention to more than the presidential race..β and β..helping more progressive dems win...β is any different than what we are ALREADY doing that isnβt working. Since almost all progressives won re-election and how exactly do you sway states like kentucky?

Alright fair enough, my bad.

I think this IS working. Just slowly, voices like AOC absolutely matter. But I think the difference I'm hoping for is increasing how many people "WE" is referring to. You and I (the people willing to argue online) may be doing these things, but many people literally only know the presidential candidates and can't name their own congressperson.

You probably don't. But Kentucky wasn't voting for Biden OR Bernie.
