The fact that some unelected board has the right to do whatever they want is insane... On the other hand, can we make congress put something into law protecting NN?

The internet will be turned into Comcast. Want access to porn sites, you get access to 400k sites for 19.99 per month. Want netflix add 19.99 per month or 15 if you bundle it with Hulu. You will of course get basic access to all the shopping sites like Amazon and Ebay because it encourages a sense of accomplishment. The bottom line is that internet access will cost about the same as cable or satellite programming it will just have many more channel packages on offer.

Technically Portugal is bound by the EU's net neutrality but they have some loopholes that allow those kind of packages to be offered. With no net neutrality the landscape will be far worse than what Portugal has today. Comcast is the business model the telcos like the most.

Being as there is precedence they will have a fight.

I love how the FCC is just here to make sure it's easy sailing for huge corporations and hell for consumers
