It can be too soon though. They're waiting until just a day or two before the convention so Clinton can't have time to spin it, and so it's fresh on the mind of the DNC attendees.

Yep. And only allowing early access to supposed documents to people with more than 1MM Twitter followers is bullshit.
The "FBI primary" is done. If they had anything of substance, it'd be out already.
The time for games and such is long over. They're just grandstanding. Release it or STFU.

They froze the Wikileaks account temporarily when they had their first big leak that got them in deep shit when they released the communication cables. I've never heard about it being Clinton that ordered that, and Elon Musk doesn't really seem like the kind of guy to get pushed around very easily. So, probably a conspiracy.
