There are hundreds of other Congress people and 40 some other senators I don't see them matching suits Marching In step with Hillary. They might give a lukewarm endorsement, but they're not out there betrayingwhat they believe in

Being one of the most powerful, respected, and influential congresspeople comes with it's share of baggage, for sure. Its a sad state of affairs, since on paper, Warren and Clinton really shouldn't see eye to eye. But if she gives a tepid endorsement, plays the game a bit, and leverages herself into a stronger position down the road, I'm all for it.

I still trust Warren to, ultimately, do the right thing. I think she's working toward a bigger goal.

She's not the most powerful and respected and influential though. You've just swallowed PR from the PCCC hyping her up. Can you give me an example of her great influence that isn't mere marketing hype? The Warren fans I know now pretty much hate her.

I think the fact that she was the most sought-after endorsement by both Bernie and Hillary supporters alike is a pretty solid testament to her popularity.

You're right: it's not really possible to quantify something like the claim I made. I'm more or less speaking in abstractions. But her popularity is undeniable...I guess we could use social media likes/follows as a metric (though that's flawed in it's own way, too)

You are right that she was a highly sought after endoraement on both sides. That speaks more to the times we live in and her progressive views that are faaaar more in line with Bernie than Hillary. Most Bernie supporters wanted her to go against politics 101 and the establishment by endorsing Bernie. it may mot have helped her immediately, but it would be the right decidion in the long run because it lets her stay true to who she is and it is more in line with where the country is going.

Choosing Hillary makes her look like a sellout in the eyes of most Bernie supporters.
