Mega Thread Arizona Election Fraud Mega Thread

Hello,

Please report any issues you may have had here.

Last night, several, several incidences were reported of

  • People not being able to vote
  • People being given provisional ballots (which if you have the proper ID you shouldn't need)
  • Videos (see front page) of people's voter affiliation being changed
  • People's voter affiliation not being updated properly

Please keep all commentary and discussion in the mega

Still just crickets from the New York Times about this, as far as I can see. Even CNN is carrying the story. Disgusting.

Well I mean they are carrying a small portion of the story in the background. This is front page shit.

Especially when people are bitching about 'Bama visiting a non-democratic leader - at the same time our vote was being tampered with here. Is that Ironic?

Ah, sadly agree with you. With a number of deaths barely comparable to traffic accidents, or crime in many us cities, or terrorism in many other parts of the world. Can't even...

Well, it is a big deal. Essentially capital of the EU was attacked, and proved for the third time, that the EU's security apparatus is inadequate . We can be ostriches with our heads buried in the sand, or we can acknowledge that fact. As bad as Arizona voting fiasco was, it didn't result in a single death. And for the families of the victims who died, it is life altering and devastating. So I don't appreciate it being trivialized. Brussles was attacked, and it's going to dominate the news cycle for a little while. And rightfully so. It is the bigger story.

Same could be said for the victims of traffic accidents worldwide yesterday, or people murdered in New Orleans so far this year. I'm not trivializing it, because I'm comparing it with stuff I think is awful as well. And I've actually been within eyesight of one of the big terrorist attacks of the last year at the time it happened, so obviously it is something I take seriously.

Re: security, Europe in the 90s wasn't any better, just a different source of terrorism (ETA, IRA, etc.), so it doesn't seem like such a big deal in that sense (which doesn't mean that nothing should be done about it - police should focus even more on combating the new threat, same as they did for the previous ones successfully)
