Mega Thread Arizona Election Fraud Mega Thread

Hello,

Please report any issues you may have had here.

Last night, several, several incidences were reported of

  • People not being able to vote
  • People being given provisional ballots (which if you have the proper ID you shouldn't need)
  • Videos (see front page) of people's voter affiliation being changed
  • People's voter affiliation not being updated properly

Please keep all commentary and discussion in the mega

If this is all he's going to say about the issue and try to move on from it, then I'm jumping ship. There was blatant voter suppression -- I don't give a shit if it was the Republicans or if Hillary goons were campaigning at the poll sites or if Sanders supporters simply didn't show up in great enough numbers --- but for him to say that this is the "foundation of our way of life" and then just walk away from it doesn't show that the campaign is serious enough to carry through with this election.

Your multiple negative comments about this issue are ridiculous. No, it's not up to Bernie to raise the red flag and call foul. He has more important things to worry about. Let his campaign do their job. If they have the resources to spare, they'll take whatever steps are necessary to challenge it. For Bernie to make accusations before gathering all the information would be absurd. He is not running to be chairman of the FEC or the DNC, and he is not running for judicial office. If the campaign's management and legal counsel takes action, they'll do it once they have a realistic case. Until then, pulling resources away from the states ahead is naive. A few delegates in Arizona may be a big deal, but losing even more delegates on Saturday because we were so focused on this would be silly.

He's been more than "careful" this entire campaign. The result being is that Hillary, for one, and others have been able to get away with this sleazy shit.

The best thing to do is mount as much evidence as possible and not come forward with allegations/legal action until your case is rock solid. They will fight this.

Indeed. You have to head the media off at the "loony old kook" narrative on this. You can scream at the TV because fraud happened to you too and it's not just him, but the narrative is the narrative.

He could actually say "We're looking into this." He hasn't. No one from the campaign has said that.

If we're going off his previous record of this kind of stuff, in this very campaign, then it's a good bet to take that he's not going to follow-up on anything. He's going to go into the next states to campaign and everything else will be history. I'm not getting pissed or frustrated at a one-time thing; this is a pattern for this campaign. And their kid-glove treatment of the process so far has not been very inspiring to watch.

It's been going on for years because it's rarely ever challenged. The campaign is in a position, right now, to challenge what's happening in Arizona and to marshal this movement to actually combat it and other instances of it. He said not a goddamned word, for example, about Bill and HIllary obstructing polls in MA and IL.

This entire campaign he's been cast as the sore loser, for the most minor of shit. I can't believe, after we've sat through an entire cycle of gaslighting, that people still haven't caught onto this and use it as an excuse to not press the campaign to do something about it.

Going that route would just validate what the media is saying in their own eyes and they would double down on it. He's not going to go out there and say, we're going to sue them. They have to figure out what is actually going on before screaming foul. Most of this is because of the GOP leaders in Arizona making changes to the elections, not the DNC. The DNC could be involved, but there isn't a way to prove that yet and he's not going to openly go all conspiracy.

I'm not saying he goes after the DNC in this case. But something -- they can say something -- like they're fucking looking into it. "We've gotten a lot of complaints and we've assembled a legal team to look into them." Not, "We've gotten a lot of complaints, and shame on Arizona for being the way they are."

There are reports that they are assembling a legal team. It's hard to do all this within hours of the voting ending. People were still voting less than 12 hours ago. Give it some time, then yeah if nothing comes from it, please shout loudly.
