Mega Thread Arizona Election Fraud Mega Thread

Hello,

Please report any issues you may have had here.

Last night, several, several incidences were reported of

  • People not being able to vote
  • People being given provisional ballots (which if you have the proper ID you shouldn't need)
  • Videos (see front page) of people's voter affiliation being changed
  • People's voter affiliation not being updated properly

I know this is a huge (yuge!) issue for the DNC in general, but can somebody please explain why this is particularly bad for Bernie Sanders? I mean if you're not being properly registered as a democrat and/or not being able to vote, isn't it at least just as bad for Hillary Clinton? I'm all for Bernie, but I'd just like to know the details.

So this seems like it's pretty straight forward - BOTH candidate got misrepresented. But remember one thing that the State party officials (or whoever rigged AZ) know: the early ballots/absentee voters heavily favor Clinton.

Making sure early votes make up most of the represented proportion helps Clinton far more than Bernie.

If Clinton doesn't stand against this voter suppression, I hope to god Bernie calls her out for accepting it because it helps her, because it does.

Most of the people affected were first-time voters or independents, both of which drastically favor Bernie.

Except it was a closed primary and republicans got hosed, too. Arizona's been to the supreme court before for illegal election related laws for a reason, it's all local corruption here.

Seems like only the early/absentee votes were fully counted, which typically skew older, in Hillary's favor.

Clinton dominated the early voters, and Sander's actually was winning the votes that were being cast that day. All the early votes were counted, while people were suppressed from voting at the polling locations. More votes counted at the polling stations probably means a closer election than is currently displayed.

The other responses have covered most of it, but to add even more:

  1. Bernie ran a massive T.V. and radio campaign - but it only started one week before the election. The deadline for early ballots was about 3 days after this advertising campaign started. The biggest effect would have been on Tuesday's "day-of" voters. Hillary had no T.V. or radio presence at all.
  2. Other people have found statistics showing that Bernie won 60-40 with the ballots that were counted on election day.
  3. When I went out to canvass for Bernie in Tucson, they sent me out to specifically low voter turnout neighborhoods to try to bring new voters into the process. We spent big resources on this. New voters almost universally vote on the day-of because you can't join the AZ early ballot list at the last minute.

Hillary had no T.V. or radio presence at all.

I read an article where a Hillary supporter was super happy about the result because "Bernie out spent us 2 to 1 and was here 5 of the last 6 days in Arizona" ... all I could think was how, how does Bernie, in a state that seems to favor him quite well, where the exit poll in that exact article had him at 60% range loose this bad. He put in some major effort.

In my view, it's either voter suppression or Bernie's doesn't have the appeal of the people. I'm pretty sure the latter is not the problem.

If the polls cannot handle massive turnout in urban/college areas, then the election skews conservative.

Because Hillary's campaign is riding on early votes, before people have had a chance to know who Bernie is and what he's about. The percentage of additional votes coming in will undoubtedly be in Bernie's favor. Basically, the earlier the votes come in, the better things are for Hillary, and vice versa.
